This poem spoke to me deeply and resonated so much, I was translated back to the time highlighted in this beautiful poem.

A powerful piece of verse, that challenges all of humanity to focus less on self and more on our fellowman, and if by chance we make mistakes along the way, its okay, because each encounter brings along with it, its on lessons that we might draw from. At first I had to re-read the poem to grasp what Eliot was eluding too, the Poet in my estimation is a sort of watchman, not gender specific but in the biblical sense pointing out the troubles or issues that abound in the life of it's people, sort of sounding the trumpet and is not bound by status or title as it were. I reminded of what it means to be a child, the innocence of childhood, the purity and the honesty, we all can still learn from the children if we are willing to watch and listen. Beautiful poem,
