I am 54 years old and work in Administration in Health care. I have 2 children 34 and 28 and 4 grandbabies, 7, 9, 13 and 15. I am a 20 years breast cancer survivor and happy for every day. I have 6 older brothers and 2 sisters. I have always enjoyed writing poetry!

As a child I struggled
I would have to fight to find my way
But now as I set and reflect
I’m glad I made it to today

Into Adulthood I stumbled
Many wrong paths I took along the way
But with guardian angels guiding me
I’m glad I made it to...

A Newfie Girl
Born and raised
Along the shore Line
I spent most of my days

Swimming with the jelly fish
Catching many a crab
