My name is Rachel Lowe. I am 34 years old and married to my high school sweetheart his name is Chris. I've seen my fair share of depression and loss with grief. I found poetry has helped me threw these tough times. I'm a rookie but hope to share some of my poetry with you all.

Sister Angels

Today I thought of you but that's nothing new
I thought of you yesterday and the day before that too
Christmas was so hard when you left and went away
God needed you more or you would have stayed
We keep you in our hearts when we think of you...

Empty Chair

I know your not here but I feel you in spirit
The chair you use to sit in is now empty
I'll try to keep it together for the sake of the family
But this year is different
Because you cant be with me
My heart will always keep you close and near...

To The Ones We've Lost

My heart aches for you
Because your not here
It's a reality that I can't bear
How must we go on when you were the glue that kept us together
I'll never be able to hug you or kiss you goodnight
I'm jealous they have you and we are stuck here...

An Angel Among Us

There's a little angel among us today
Who doesn't want tears of sadness, but tears of joy
Who wants us to know he is in a place where the streets are gold and the clouds are soft as baby's skin.
He wants his beautiful mother and father to know...
