Escapism is Beyond Me

The sky speaks a tongue of hues
In shades of purple, pink, red and blue
A man sings songs to the heavens
Do-Re-Mi floats into a bar
Head over shoulders and finds Fa

The notes dock a boat
Set sail on a grassy pathway
Where rocks on pastures

I love the way in which you personified the lake and the descriptive words used. I thought the poem was clever and was structured really nicely with each stanza depicting different forms of life and how they saw their insecurities in the lake. Well done, a good write!
