I was born a writer at heart, and have found passion in poetry especially. In grade school, I was awarded first place at several entry contests in the state of North Carolina. I hope to one day soon publish my own collection of poems and short stories for the world to read. Most of my work has a touch of darkness as a reflection of my own struggles with mental health and trauma.
