Hi, I'm a new member and would like to introduce myself. I'm Bonnie Hardee Kotchick from Lakeland, born and raised. I've also lived in Alabama, and Pennsylvania over the years. I have been writing poetry for over 25 years mainly for myself and family. One of my favorite poems, Shh.... is about having circling thoughts. It was written on a night when I was experiencing just that, and I thought writing the poem would make them stop! It didn't but that poem has helped me a lot when I am unable to sleep, lol. I'm hoping to publish my line of children's books soon. I have two separate lines, Sparkle Lynn and Duke the Redneck Lizard! Sparkle is the main character for the line that deals with morals and issues our children face in life. Duke is just for fun! I have some short stories in the works as well, some inspired by my Mother and her adventures, some of mine as well. Nice to meet your group. Thanks
