Ako'y kapwa mo kabataan

Sa dakong timog silanga'y isang musmos and nasaksi,
Isang pag-asa ng hinaharap na walang kasing-hapdi,
Sa lupaing lugmok ang kahirapan at paghihirap,
Na tanging kaalaman lamang ang maaring makapagliligtas.

Sa kaniyang paglaki'y anong saya ang...
