I have never sought to be published, but, I enjoy random and informal rhyming about everyday activities and thoughts. My children and grandchildren gained their personal poem/song as soon as I sensed their unique personality traits. Developing cheers was my very favorite thing about being a cheerleader (? maybe I am published, the pep-clubs/fans yelled my cheers repeatedly at sporting events). I also find energy in the process of writing for understanding/clarity and ‘buy-in’. I did exactly this for many years as a school psychologist; writing succinct evaluation reports with a summary designed to give the reader a wholistic view of a child’s possessed skills and unique nature/personality ; from which pertinent interventions were reported in hope the reader be sold and motivated to apply for the child’s good.
