Analysis of LAUGH AGAIN
Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)
I thought I heard you laugh
When you learned I cared for you
You never had enough of My Name
The Victory you knew was true...
...So why now do you cry?
I thought I heard you laugh
You laughed and jumped for joy!
Joyful in the Victory of the Cross!
You knew your Hope was all you needed...
...So why do you bow in defeat?
You laughed so much in your Lord
Victory present in your life
Where has the Joy gone?
Why is laughter now gone?
It's so sad...
...So sad...
...that your laughter's gone away
I thought I heard you laugh
When I died and rose again
You wanted to tell the world!
But now you shut your mouth.
Why are you sad?
Truth shall hold sway!
O'Church,why do you cry?
Laugh as you did once, so long ago!
Laugh again...
...oh my dear Church!
Laugh in Victory...
....Laugh in Joy!
Dry the tears of sorrow!
Laugh in the Joy of Tomorrow!
Laugh for the Salvation you receive!
Laugh, O'Church, 'Cause you live!
Laugh again Church...
....for Jesus still reigns!
AMEN
