Analysis of NEVER OUT
Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)
I'm standing here before you
Trying to decide if I'm in or out
Lord there's trials I'm going through
And I'm trying to preach to my doubt
Darkness gathers on every side
The devil dances on my chains
This is the choice we all must decide
As we strive beyond our pains
I've been a soldier, gone to war
Been a trucker traveling far
I've been a surfer off the shore
Been dying and saved by a scar
Through it all, You were there
Lord you guided me past the pain
So again I fall down in prayer
All is lost if Your Grace I gain
So stand and testify with me
Yeah, let's all preach to our doubt
Let chains fall off as we're set free
Because Grace is all in and never out
AMEN

About this poem
remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:12-13
