Analysis of OUR HEARTS
Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)
OUR HEARTS
You know we're getting older
The road wears us all down
Those giants are getting bolder
And old friends just ain't around
Sometimes we want to quit
Our hearts just aren't in it
But His love is ever lasting
Those mountains He still moves
The whole world's bent on crashing
His Spirit seeks and soothes
And we can still stand
Our hearts are in His hand
As dark as tomorrow seems
It's the dawn of what's to come
Peace beyond our wildest dreams
We will stand in His Kingdom
Then our race is won
Our hearts are with the Son
Yes we are getting older
But the battle's still the Lord's
Those giants still fall in order
Before His Holy Sword
He still calls us all to fight
Our Hearts are in His Light
Amen
