Analysis of RUN WITH YOU

RUN WITH YOU

I felt the heart of my pain
That rested in the love of another
Did I not know it was in vain?
As demands reached out to smother
So, I ran, I ran from pain’s love
Ran from stuff dream are made of

Some may call me a sorry fool
For jumping so very quick and fast
Or is it that you find Love cruel
For heart's that break when stones cast?
Do you imagine that I ran in shame?
No, I just got tired of the game

When I met her, I have no words to say
Just how my soul she so touched
My Faith, took my breath, my heart, away
My heart wasn't mended so much
As melded to her heart, as one
Destined in this life,we start to run

Eighteen years, my Love, My heart
And I swear not a day do I regret
Our love is eternal, yet just got its start
Seems life began when we first met
I love you, now, more as time runs
As the day, our hearts became one

About this poem

I love you Faith, and run with you A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:10-12
