Analysis of SONG IN THE WIND

SONG IN THE WIND

There's a song in the wind
Singing about times to come
Not sure how the chorus will end
But in the song I hear war’s drum

The smell of war hits your nose
As sabers rattle and leaders growl
All around us tension grows
Watch the rockets fire now

Lord we need You , Lord we seek you
As the song grows ever more intense
Lord the Harvest is great but workers few
The enemy crashed through the fence

A whisper in the wind, almost it's not heard
Rises suddenly into a huge crescendo
But we're not surprised, it's in God's Word
It's already shown us how the song will go

We watch the song playing out all around
We hear the notes and Lord we weep
Ashes to ashes the world falls down
They're caught up in the sin they reap

A song in the wind, breaks your heart
The song is going to tear the World apart.
The song sings of what's about to start
A song that's literally off the chart

Pray for the singers, it's you and me
Pray for tomorrow, it's looking grim
Pray to the Lord who sets us free
As be sing in Praise of Him

So sing out for thanks, sing in joy
Sing for the Glory of a risen King!
Sing for a world, that forgets it's toy
Sing in thanksgiving, for everything
Amen

About this poem

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, Psalm 95:1-7
