My demons

My demons told me I wasnt good enough,
and I believed it,
They told me that I was a failure,
And I  accepted that,
They told me to be silent,
And I listened.

They tell me I'll never make it,
And I believe that,
They tell me I'll never be better,
And agree with them,
They tell me to be silent,
I listen.

When they tell me I'm never going to improve,
I believe it,
When they say ill never have a chance at life,
I have no doubt their are right,
When they tell me to be silent,
I listen.
