The Chaplain
The saintly chaplain kneels on the battlefield
laughing at the corpses of the Satanic enemy vanquished;
only dear old God above knows his heart and mind
and the Lord is keeping his face shut.
The saintly chaplain never ceases to pray for his own immortal soul
for Jesus Christ is his true and only salvation
and Satan is defeated in the hideous heat of battle
when heads roll and gory guts are blown out of bleeding bodies.
The saintly chaplain always remains dapper in his smart uniform,
his dog-collar spotless and free from enemy gore
and indescribable are the gentle feelings of hatred of Satan which
pump out of his heart like the bullets from his machine-gun.
The saintly chaplain loves to send his Satanic foes
to eternal Hellfire in God's name and he rejoices
to see them evacuate their bowels and piss a lot
in abject terror as they perish in agony.
The saintly chaplain reads his Bible and says his prayers
loudly in a mighty stentorian voice for all to hear
exhorting his fellow soldiers to pray and shoot bullets simultaneously
as they face an agonising death on Satan's bloody battlefield.
