My Highway
Cruising down the highway, minding my own
You drove down by my side, stranger unknown
We smiled and waved a simple “Hi”
My lonely journey became a joyride
Enjoying the sweet nothings of life are we
Taking detours to fulfill our daily needs
Our destinations are still uncertain
The routes too not entirely chosen
Doesn’t matter where this road leads us
As long I am with you, till my very last
