The girl I would love
ThatPersoN 2003 (CO)
The girl I would love is beautiful.
Not drop-dead gorgeous, but just pretty enough.
She is slim, but not skinny.
Just thick enough to want to hold.
The girl I would love has radiant eyes, with a wit sharp as a blade.
She is slow to respond, with a collected demeanor.
She knows exactly what to say, and her advice gives comfort to the people she loves.
The girl I would love is not academically smart per se… her wisdom is far greater than book smarts.
She’s cunning, mature, and smooth in everything she does.
She is brave and doesn’t hesitate.
The girl I would love is quiet, but not shy.
She knows what she deserves, but not where she belongs; because she belongs everywhere.
The girl I would love carries people.
She is loyal, and never complains about the baggage she bears for others.
Most people trust her, and those who don’t, respect her at least.
The girl I would love is not awkward at all, when she speaks to people it is with intention.
She is not perfect, but enough so, that people want her in their lives, and want her company.
So I guess, to sum up...
The girl I would love is a version of me.
The version I want to become. The version everyone else wants me to be.
The version I am not.
She is the girl I would love.
