Thoughts of Eve
Bon voyage
The hovering clouds and stary stars
The perfect hue of imperial blue
The crescent moon and splendid muse
Bon voyage.
To the cunning foxes in cold blood.
The unity that's far from lost
The charming smile that never stops
Bon voyage
Depression, envy, hate and aggressions
Pleasures that makes us falter, hence, regression.
Revolution of the evolving generation
Bon voyage.
Misty mornings and hurtful times
Procrastination caressing a delusive mind
Conspicuous consternation and an unwanted life
Bon voyage
Religious wars and ethnic conflicts
Arenals in the hands of cosmopolitan bandits
The thrive of evil in the life of a convict.
Bon voyage
To the agony, sorrow, distress and pain
Life's misfortunes and hurtful end
Last breaths and tear drops like rain.
Bon voyage
The horn blows as the cargo ship is fully loaded and takes its leave.
Anxiety replaced with the warmth of welcoming peace
The breeze swiftly blowing as she sits on the quay with ease.
Bon voyage mon ami, indeed she sleeps.
Bon voyage, Bon voyage, to the credible thoughts of eve.
About this poem
Everyone has a way in which they view this world. To some, they see it as magnificent, and others perhaps, unforgiving and evil. But just after the death of Eve, she watched the burden of which she couldn't afford to carry sail away on the cargo ship as her heart gets filled with peace, sitting at the quay of the sea, for she had nothing to worry about anymore, not thoughts to haunt her down and no threat able to suppress her courage. She was free, and due to my view of an unforgiving world, I created a fictional character and titled the poem "Thoughts of Eve". more »
