Misinterpreted Interrogation
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
What is done to make public,
Nolonger is kept secret.
Although a declaring of ownership,
One may or may not...
Accept or deny,
Documentation that provides proof of it.
Leaving the public left to scrutinize,
The value or worth of their attention given.
Yet can remain a source to prove its truth.
As to who introduced,
The evidence of its creation.
And,
On the other hand...
What has been done to reveal publicly,
Still remains...
For the public to decide,
It's worth, value and usefulness.
To choose and do whatever they wish.
Whether to open their mouths.
Or tighten close their shut lips.
Afterall,
What has been made public...
Someone eventually,
Will be declared the owner of it! Period!
'Uh...
That argument you have,
About what you do in private...
Is your business and should be kept secret?
Is both ridiculous and commendable.
However...
Why was the doing of it made public?
And not kept to yourself?
This makes no sense!'
'I just wanted it shown to make known,
What I did to have evaluated.'
'I see.
And...
For what purpose?
To get attention or to serve your ego?'
'That's an unfair assessment.
And a misinterpretation of my credibility.
The public misunderstood my intentions.
You see...
Although I did what I did to do,
To use words as proof of my truth?
I did not with consciousness,
Attempt to mislead anyone.
It was the public and not me,
Who decided I deceived.'
'Hmmm.
Today?
Most people will call that being,
A straight up liar.
What would you call this action of yours,
In your Universe?'
'I am not about the spreading of hatred.
What the World needs now,
Is love.
More love.
It's the only thing that the World,
Has little of!'
'Nice quote.
And...
That pass you have just thrown,
Who do you believe...
Should receive it?
Forgivingly?
When you have yet to admit,
What you threw to accept...
Is nothing more but a bunch of B.S.'
Smell the coffee, brutha!'
'I object.
I'm into tea!'
'And that cup you pour?
Is running over with lies!'
'Go ahead,
Say what you will.
But the people will come to realize,
I am not the only one...
Who has been made a victim,
To our way of life!'
'OH?
So what are you saying?
We all are liars?'
'Those are your words.
Me?
I am in no position,
To verify or validate your confession.'
'My confession?
That is your confession to make!'
'I am a lover.
Not a scapegoat to use.
Or a public martyr to be abused,
By your delusions.
Are you through with this interrogation?
Who has misinterpreted what here?
My credibility or your integrity?'
