Thick Thighs
I remember the first time I was told that I was getting a little wide in my hips,
I was assured it was a blessing and that any girl would kill to have some of my "junk,"
That thick thighs are what guys want.
But when I go to someone about my sexual harassment, I receive comments like;
Boys will be boys. Are you sure it wasn't something you were wearing? You seemed like you were into it. What if you wanted it deep down.
Down is where guys hands tend to trail, down my back to my,
Asking myself why am I only thick thighs and pretty eyes to the men of this world.
Being told that a guy only went out with you because you have a nice body,
getting catcalled, thinking it makes me enthralled, not appalled that a 40-year-old man is saying you look gooood in those jeans.
Those jeans, the ones I've put through so much torture jumping to get them past my thick thighs,
Buttons bursting, belt loops busting, pulling to get them to my torso,
Dresses coming up too high, booty shorts, and leggings are my demise, and I don't want to distract the guys.
The guys that can't focus in school because of my thick thighs.
I'm so tired of feeling like a piece of meat when I walk by a group of men,
worried that they will take it as an invitation if I bend over the wrong way.
I've heard countless times; you have a big butt, do you know you have a big butt, you're kinda thick, I wish I had a butt like yours, have you put on weight?
My mind thinks of boys in the locker room saying yea; I'd bang that, tap that, hit that,
But to those guys, I am not an object for your pleasure.
I am so tired of boys saying, You know I'm not like the others, I'm a nice guy, then a little later asking to see what's between my thick thighs.
