Me To Like Mode
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
I don't stray too far away,
From what it is I decide...
That is right for me to like mode.
And...
Permanently switched on,
To remain automatic.
With no excuses do I make to anyone,
Celebrating their despair.
I have been there to witness it seen,
Just who cares that my choice had been...
Groaning to complain,
That my life seems to stay the same.
Unchanged!
People love to pick,
Their own sorrows and pain...
To have others observe them,
Self inflict.
There comes a time,
When people grow up to become older...
In their minds.
No longer refusing the obvious known.
That the time has come,
To leave B.S. where it is and left alone.
Me to like mode I love.
I do.
After wasting tolerance and patience.
And that heard to hear,
On a path to begin to notice...
My journey to accomplish,
A happiness wished to want it felt...
From the inside and not out.
Seeking it given by someone else.
Was not appeasing to satisfy,
My life once completely lived in denial.
Like those patiently tolerating,
Their lack of initiative.
And their efforts to endeavor,
Passing judgements on others...
Attempting more to accomplish.
Than to sit fixed,
On behinds glued to a long gone past!
Truth to face,
Seldom receives a warm embrace.
Until the missing of reality arrives.
Becoming one's depressing experience.
Truth?
Is direct to accept or not.
And...
Not a word heard,
About alternative options.
Approved to accept,
In a head stubborn and cemented thick...
Deep in excuse making ignorance.
One has to know and identify,
Who enjoys performing...
The empathy hoping to get victim.
And their repetitious allegations.
On others unafraid,
To spell and define the meaning of truth.
Me?
To like this mode I am in now?
I don't put myself in a position,
To explain my disposition.
I live to know what it is I like.
And not to debate or solicit agreement.
That kind of time I don't find to waste!
