The doors
Zamanxadi khathi 2004 (South Africa)
The doors
I stood there,
Knocked before the sudden doors of your heart,
I thought I'd see your eyes misted with joy,
Your face showering itself with joy,
I thought I'd hear the melodic sound of your feet as they ran towards the doors,
I thought I'd hear your heart beat as you open its doors,
But no, none of my thoughts became my reality.
I kept on standing with my eyes misted
And my fate twisted.
I stood before the sudden doors of your heart and the mysterious silence kept on calling,
The doors of your heart were closed for me, while mine were widely opened for you, they weren't even trying to shut.
