Patriotic Citizens
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
White replacement and critical race theories.
Creating upheaval and division among,
Those using common sense.
And others who have none.
Yet no one has yet to express,
How Aunt Jemima's face on a pancake box.
Or Uncle Ben's rice has stop this cooked.
Awaiting it served,
Piping hot at their Thanksgiving meals.
Or that must have recipe,
For that delicious barbecue pork or beef.
No one refuses to sit and eat.
'Uh...what?'
Tell me,
How can people vocally display.
Their discriminating ways.
Over conservative radio waves.
24/7 each day of every week.
To then excuse their intentions meant.
With them then heard to claim,
They are not racists?
'I...uh...huh?'
To then advocate, support and not eliminate,
Their endorsing of elected leaders.
Known to commit physical and mental abuse.
Upon their own spouses, children.
On anyone else they choose.
With a doing to dismiss,
Their own criminal activities...
Tolerated and openly witnessed.
'I...'
Then appoint to anoint they do,
With this authority given to them.
Those they know unqualified,
To seek and search the ones they profile.
For being pushers of drugs and users too.
Without evidence produced to prove,
Them to be in the wrong place.
At the wrong time.
In their own neighborhoods.
And not carrying documents that declare,
Them to be faithful and loyal...
Patriotic citizens too!
'Well...
What you are saying explains everything.'
Everything like what?
'What race of people are you talking about?
And would they be,
Of a certain ethnic persuasion?
Swaggering to walk around,
With a dignity to pride themselves...
And an identifiable ancestry.'
And if they were,
What difference would that make?
'These days?
If people are ignoring,
Those that discriminate against them.
With an intention to demean their presence.
This can make the ones,
Historically made to feel insecure...
Of who they are to be?
People like that,
By any means necessary...
Will go out of their way.
To enforce upon others,
An attention to get from them...
As if all who naturally have racial diversity,
Should idolize...
Who they fiction and delude themselves to be.
Based upon image and the color of it.
Believing to think of themselves...
Born,
With an unquestionable superiority!'
Whose land are we upon,
To declare it theirs alone to own?
And what makes anything stolen,
A benefit forever to keep?
By those taking it away.
Everywhere to observe and see.
To believe themselves other than thieves!
'There you go.
Always trying to introduce truth and reality.
When truth has been outlawed.
And the reality of this to delude and fiction?
Happens to be,
What has made us and our beliefs...
The envy of the World everywhere!'
Pointless it is to have a meaningful debate,
With you or anyone else...
Arriving too late to awaken to use,
A common sense absent of consciousness.
'Oh...
You know I have heard this before.
However...
I am told,
If you are hoping to find yourself...
Back in Kansas?
Is to close your eyes.
Click your heels together,
Three times!'
Stop being so ridiculous.
'Are you kidding?
And why would I want myself,
Suspected as a nonconformist?
Apparently you have no idea,
The risk I am taking...
Providing you with valuable advice.'
