Death
Death and I shook hands a while ago
He held me close. kissing my head
Telling me how He would keep me safe
He is the one I look forward to
How can I possibly be scared of Death
When He is the only comfort I have
I want to die, but I want to die pretty
So I put my lashes on
Contour my nose
Put on my lip gloss
And look into the mirror
I stare into my own empty eyes
The eyes crying for help
The eyes begging for death
The eyes that are already dead
Death is a friendly being
Always there when I need a shoulder to cry on
Or just to get comfort from
People say I am crazy
To want to spend time with death so much
Death and I are long time friends
Death is my escape
