When Jesus Christ Said

When Jesus Christ Said
Author: Mark V. Markov

When Jesus Christ said
To those who claimed
To prophesy in His name
To those
Who cast out demons in His name
Those who healed in His name,
Performing miracles.

He said away from me
Those who practice lawlessness
Those who practice iniquity
He did not call them liars
He did not say,
What they said is not true.

Some people prophesy in His name
Are able to heal in His name
Cast out demons in His name
But they live
In a twisted and corrupted teaching
Which is referred to as lawlessness
And iniquity

And how much more?
If you are not able to prophesy
If you are not eve able to heal
Or to cast out demons
And are living
In a contrary to Jesus Christ's teaching
But still believing in Him

Since Jesus never said you liars
Jesus never said
That they did not do any of those things
Yet He acknowledged them as those,
Who practice lawlessness,
Those who practice iniquity

Keeping this in mind
Even though you are able to heal in His name
And to cast out demons in His name
And prophesy in His name
Yet if you choose not to live by
What Jesus Christ taught and instructed
By finding other out of context verses
To justify your own contrary teaching

Since the word of God is the law
Those who twist and corrupt it
By creating their own
Contrary to Jesus Christ's teaching

They are choosing to live
By practicing lawlessness
By practicing iniquity
And yet to still believe in God,
And in Jesus Christ.

Our Lord
Already mentioned it in Scripture
As a reference point
So those who believe in Him
Will not be in that category of people
Who believe in Him
But choose to live in a contrary teaching
Which is lawlessness and iniquity

When Jesus Christ said
To those who claimed
To prophesy in His name
To those
Who cast out demons in His name
To those who healed in His name,
Performing miracles.

He said away from me
Those who practice lawlessness
Those who practice iniquity
He did not call them liars
He did not say,
What they said was not true.

Sometimes people are able to heal in his name
To cast out demons in His name
To prophesy in His name
But they live
In a twisted and corrupted teaching
Which is referred to as lawlessness
And iniquity

How much more?
If you are not able to prophesy
If you are not eve able to heal
Or to cast out demons
And are living
In a contrary to Jesus Christ's teaching
But still believing in Him

Since Jesus never said you liars
Yet He acknowledged them as those,
Who practice lawlessness
As those who practice iniquity.

All that believe in Him
Must live by,
What He taught and instructed.
We all must do,
What He told us to do,
In the word of God.
His instruction to us,
Is in the New Testament,
In the Holy Scriptures...

Luke 6:46-49 (ESV)

46 "Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?

47 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them,
I will show you what he is like:

48 he is like a man building a house,
who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock.
And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it,
because it had been well built.

49 But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house
on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell,
and the ruin of that house was great."

Matthew 7:21-27 (ESV)

21 "Not everyone who says to me,
‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name,
and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’

23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

24 "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house
on the rock.

25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house,
but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.

26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man
who built his house on the sand.

27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell,
and great was the fall of it."

Matthew 21-23 (ESV)

21 "Not everyone who says to me,
‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name,
and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’

23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Matthew 24:35 (ESV)

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

What is the meaning of iniquity biblically?

Iniquity in Hebrew is "Avon" and means "to bend, twist, distort"
so iniquities are a bending, twisting, or distorting of the law or God's Word
to different degrees worthy of punishment (as we shall read later).
Iniquity is certainly a violation of the right or duty that mankind
is under obligation to do.
