Drive Thru Addiction
Matthew Zagorski 1986 (NY)
Addiction leads to conviction.
But ultimately strong convictions lead to addictions because of a system that fills the prescription.
A pandemic, but nobody’s panicked.
One that will kill black, white, or hispanic.
It will kill you guys too.
If your groups feeling manic.
Get high and don’t feel the persuasions amazing!
I use to feel something.
Still try on occasion.
This mission to cure addiction is a constant depiction conflicting money to doctors that make the decisions.
A known crisis sweeping the nation, but the cash flow is steady if the patients are baking.
But Now they’re all mental.
Ghosts flying in spaceships.
All they wanted was love, but never fit in with basics.
Good looking or not It fucks with their faces and gives them a gateway to better out places.
It ages their faces to match the disgraces that family and friends have placed on them for ages.
Corruption and law that suppress who you are until hiding it all is too hard to hold on.
When your stuck in a place where your mind won’t erase all the things you’ve been told that you are.
They say “snap out of it,” or they treat you like shit no matter if woman or man.
Love’s all that was needed, but it left and depleted along with their hypocrite friends.
But don’t ease your pain with a needle in your vein.
I have no doubt.
They’ll single you out.
Throw hatred on your name.
You’ll be likely defamed and the stain on the shame that’s neatly spread across your name.
But if you try and get better, it’s V for Vendetta,
You’ll be treated just the same!
When hiding away, no love or no drugs, don’t tell them the pain that was felt. When mentioning me it will make you feel better.. just speak of the pain that I dealt.
You’re life was better……than I was………..always disappointing….and doing drugs.
Don’t tell them of the good I did
The same old story. A troubled kid.
Don’t mention all the good I was.
Tell them how selfish…..
Your best friend was.
