Documented Disbelief
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Will the same movie,
Once to see over again then repeatedly...
Change in shock to present,
Its significance.
With those who view it,
Still left stunned and unconvinced...
The the end of the movie,
Began with the same actors...
Performing acts of theft, fraud,
Corruption and deception.
Had been the same actors,
Attempting to prove the evidence and facts...
Of their involvement,
Had been a misunderstanding.
And the movie had been filmed,
As a documentary.
Without their knowledge to give consent.
'Why?
Why do you wish to torment yourself like this?
It is the same movie.
To see it over and over again.'
'I can not believe these characters,
Perform with such commitment.
To claim an innocence of not knowing,
Their crimes were being filmed...
Specifically as a documentary.
How crazy can minds like these be?'
'They...
Are the ACTORS.
Performing as if they are not acting.
Yell me this,
How much money...
Would you agree to be paid,
To pretend mental blindness.
And a rare touch of unawareness,
No one acting ignorant would admit...
Of having consciousness or its reality?
These folks you see performing?
Are brilliant with talents and hypnotic skills.
How much would you agree to be paid,
To have ordinary people think of you...
As a lowlife, thoughtless greedy crook?'
'That depends.'
'On...what?'
'If I could approve,
The doing of my innocence...
To redo the appearance of it,
If my portrayal is suspiciously disbelieved.'
'Then why would you sit,
Through anything over and over.
Knowing the outcome of it?'
'I am shocked and stunned,
As to how this movie was done.
With real criminals confessing crimes.
To go ignored and dismissed.
As actors seen coached by them,
To document the corruption going on.
I admit, remain I do,
Disbelieving the truth of it.
Because,
From my point of view...
If corruption has become this worshipped.
And people are willing to risk,
Their souls to sell to obtain notoriety?
That's what I find disbelievable enough,
To become addicted and attracted to watch...
Over and over again
The trouble we are all in to allow it done!
