Maybe Just Maybe

The pain has made me cautious, The hurt has given me reasons not to trust, I have changed. I’m unsure I want to try again. So, maybe that means I need more time to heal or maybe I’ve learned that another man is not what I need.
Maybe that is what this means, maybe you were what I needed to accept this life. Maybe just maybe this was God’s plan all along.
Maybe I needed to love and maybe I needed to lose, Maybe just maybe this is God’s plan for me
Maybe I needed a hard lesson, Maybe I needed to be so broken, Maybe just maybe this is where healing begins

Yet, I know I love you so, but maybe just maybe one day that will all be gone.

When I seen you today, was not as hard nor did it hurt like it always did before. So maybe just maybe I am over you now.
