Death
Douglas H. Mc Clintock 1934 (Sarnia, Ontario)
Death is not always a harbinger of bad news,
To those in Christ, we bid farewell
To our loved ones without excuse,
Our final home without parallel !
We arise and take our final journey
A black and stormy river called Death,
In a micro second, my soul is into Glory,
I distinctly remember when I took my last breath !
But as we cross the river, God is with us,
We are comforted by His Presence,
What lies ahead amid the darkness
No one has come back to tell us about the silence !
This river will also see it's gloomy valley
But God has said, fear no evil,
He holds my hand and gives me confidence,
I am nearly there, the amazing light makes it final !
Imagine, I am in my Father's house,
The fellowship of kindred and friends are there,
My Father's home where Jesus is a storehouse
Of love and light, we cannot measure !
And because I believed in Jesus Christ
While here on earth
He paid the price for my release,
For me, He gave me a second rebirth !
If you want to be a wise man
You need to have and study the Bible,
Only one life to live, what's your version in life ?
With God your Salvation is fully possible !
