Meant To Intend
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Difficult the doing is.
To rush to the defense,
Of the ones who habitually lie.
With a doing to live them.
Then to know they pretend,
Their innocence has been victimized.
By those they have lied upon,
All their deceiving lives.
And...
Have many not to realize,
The truth of this.
Who believe and expect,
Those made the victims...
Should rush to the defense,
Of the ones seeking empathy...
For the misdeeds they have done to commit.
To do with an intent meant.
So difficult it is.
A doing to forgive and forget,
The malicious activities...
Of someone like this to pretend it!
Especially,
In the support of a liar.
Who tells their lies and sells them well.
So difficult it is.
This choice to choose for someone abused.
When they too have been accused,
Of being a liar.
A liar!
Others accept to believe,
To not know the truth or its reality!
'Shouldn't you have more empathy than that?'
'More empathy for who and what?'
'For those suffering in mental anguish.'
'And...
Where were they?
When my pain and anguish,
Had not been a portrayal.'
'I guess,
No one knew about it.'
'Perhaps the reason for that is,
My pain and anguish to live it.
Would take the attention away,
From those seeking...
To be the center of attention.
Regardless of the circumstances.'
'I don't understand.'
'You're not suppose to.
That to do,
Had not been meant...
To be their intention!'
