Ode to my no more maternal love
I lost her; Now‚ I'm confused, disconnected.
I used to think she would be eternal.
This beloved love, unique and maternal!
I lost her, and I couldn’t believe it‚
I cannot accept she is no more.
No longer with us like before.
And now pain‚ I embrace.
To love her with all my heart was not enough,
To tell me her stories, stories with heroes so tough.
But she is there, yes, there, in a grave.
Suffering weighed me down since my mom, I can’t save.
More, I have to say goodbye to her, my last grace.
But, hey, I am no hero, I'm not ready!
Is it so hard to see for me she must stay?
Because of this truth, the pain I can’t keep at bay.
I love her more than anything, and despite everything, she leaves at her life’s twilight.
But momma‚ why not tell God, the almighty
A plea that you must stay with your son because,
By your death‚ you plant in the chest a long wooden stick.
Since you gave me life and make no mistake
Do not forgo the immense suffering childbirth cause
Isn't it fair to know you and you at least my childhood?
After uttering so many cries, God should...
I keep crying, and to God more and more, I atone.
Then I start to be angry she leaves me alone,
However, it is with death that I am in a quarrel.
Dad, tell me, (tell me) she's here that she didn't leave me,
That she will always be close to me,
That one more time on my front head, I would feel her skull.
Dad, please don't tell me‚ don't tell me she is in heaven‚
Like angels; and no more can we share the same air,
That I will see her only in my dreams of an Eden.
Withal, it's a fact! She is no longer there,
Bye, Mommy, now, I know; I had to comprehend it.
Faced with death, we can only (only) shout forfeit.
