The Moon
Every time the sun goes down,
in the darkest of skies, a moon can be found.
Giving light, on a pitch-black night,
allowing imaginations to ignite.
Each time I gaze at the moon while enjoying
my view, I remember someone somewhere is
looking up at it too. Since the moon has the
power to control the ocean,
there's no doubting it's the cause of a lot of commotion. When the moon is full and ever
so big, People will zag when they usually zig.
Opposites will attract, people's
demeanor won't be intact,
and someone somewhere, won't think life's fair.
As they pretend not care, and claim they were unaware.
So, no matter what we choose to believe,
your mind will set you free as you achieve,
your own opinion on the moon and all of its
glory So whatever you choose to believe is its
story, make sure you can feel it,
cause one day it may only be here in spirit.
