Mama Bear

Warm grizzly hugs
Under starry, singing skies
But I’m wicked
And spiteful, not delightful
Too complicated
to deal with, then she
called me heartless.
Soon I’ll be lifeless
betrayal never tasted so sour
when it was served to you by your mama bear.
Instead of honey she churned
poison, she churned
expectations. Great expectations,
made you fear failure
Disappointment
You're a disaster
Can’t go crying to your mama
She is not there.
Under that warm brown fur coat
Is a monster
Ready to devour what’s left of the child in you
Now the sky turns red
Furious, flaming fire shoots the ground
You entered hell
You blinked, fell asleep
And now all you see in front of you
Is danger

About this poem

Relationship with my mother, not very fun. I use poetry as an output to explain what I'm feeling. Even if she sees this poem, she will not understand what I mean, I don't know why.
