My Burden

My burden is my cross to bare,
The pain I feel
Because of my younger me,
I worked injured,
Now I pay.
I stood up so many times
When beaten down.
Now my body and my soul have
Lost it's bounce,
I am tires.
My love is gone,
For he reached his end.
Some day we will embrace again.
Not yet!
Knitting still
