This Christmas

Some people forget why Christmas is here.
And why we celebrate it at the end of the year.
It gives you a chance to reflect and look back.
Rearrange your priorities and get them intact.
It's the time of the year.
To give from your heart.
Not a time to get gifts.
From a damn shopping cart.
If you are not wealthy.
Please don't make a fuss.
Many people out there.
They have it worse than us.
You may have no money and have zero wealth.
But at least just be grateful.
That you have your health.
If your health is not great.
And once good health you had.
Be grateful for family.
Your mom or your dad.
If you do not have family.
And I hope it’s not true.
At least you’re still breathing.
This may be your cue.
You can always pick up a paper and pen.
There are many people.
That don't have a friend.
Write them a letter.
Turn a frown to a smile.
You know in your heart.
It will all be worthwhile.
One never knows when life comes to an end.
Keep your heart full of love and please make amends.
This Christmas please follow your heart down the right path.
Because you never know.
If it will be your last.
Don’t let life bring you down.
Be the opposite you see.
Lift up your hearts.
We are all family.
