THE OLD OKADA MAN VOICE
Poem
Title: THE OLD OKADA MAN VOICE.
Not every war demands pulling of triggers
Not every war demands horses and chariots
To many victories over too hopes
People are dying from silent arrow pointing at them
There's war in the land.
This fingers putting at us is sharper
Sharper than the kings machete at war dance
I ride and from it lived, from it my pregnant wife and unborn child and my future lives.
I choose not to ride, it was hell.
But no choice.
Now I walk, no work.
There's war in the land.
The hope they gave themselves is now becoming rope on the neck.
The tears they were running from is now becoming water to wash their sorrowful smile
Who's to be blame?
The gods or the guts of our ZERO PAST?
There's war in the land.
