The tides of change

As the tides of change begin
I see the starlight of yesterday's
The warmth of the sun touches my soul
As I see the void of tomorrow
Will I ever find the peace of heart
My soul it so desires
That will lead me to wisdoms door
A place where I feel no sorrow

As the tides of change arrive
I walk memories golden Pathways
Tomorrow I know is not promised
So I hold on to the moment of today
Teardrops flow like rivers from my soul
Leading me to heartaches door
I'll hold on to memories golden
Until I reach heavens bliss

As the tides of change depart
Acceptance of the heart
I feel the warmth of love
Deep within my soul
I know you reached heavens gates
For an angel now walks with me
I opened up my tormented soul
Now at last I'm flying free
