Luck



In most cases
Luck, is not reliable
No matter if it's ran with you all these years
Like a cruel mistress
You will awake one day without her by your side
You'll see her every now and then in passing
But what seemed like undying loyalty
Was only her proclivity to youth

About this poem

After turning 27 and experiencing pains that linger instead of disappear, I was inspired to write this one.
