River Nihil
I gaze into the void: foul, blackened stream.
It seems almost as the gaps between stars.
I loathe all the noise drowning out my dreams:
Becoming as desolate as mars.
I'm reminded of my small proportion,
And kneel before almighty eternal.
I writhe and scream against fading importance,
Pleading for unlikely deferral.
