Empyreal Resilience: A Sonnet of the Children of Nobody
Mawphniang Napoleon 1993 (Ri Bhoi)
Though deemed as pariahs, they possess a unique poise,
Their fortitude and ambition, a spectacle to behold in this clime.
Though dealt a harsh lot, they shall play it with utmost fortitude,
They shall surmount every hindrance, and grasp for the celestial spheres that beam so bright.
Their odyssey may be arduous, yet they shall never waver or incline,
For they cognize that they are entitled to life and the right to chart their own course.
Let us not pass judgment upon them, for their tribulations are not of their own volition,
Let us extend them a helping hand, for the children of nobody are deserving of salvation.
