The Elusive Mastery: A Sonnet of Tribulations and Triumph
In existence, there are occurrences that elude our mastery,
And tribulations that defy our capability for triumph,
It is imperative to acknowledge and avow,
That these are matters that exceed our dominion.
And though it may be arduous to relinquish them,
It is essential to relinquish and progress,
For clinging will only exacerbate the problem,
And confine us to that which has transpired.
Therefore, let us not vainly attempt to command,
But concentrate on the affairs within our purview,
For in the ultimate analysis, it is the sagacious objective,
And will culminate in a life that is not aberrant.
And thus, in this, the course is lucid and authentic,
To relinquish and reform, to commence anew.
