TrustNme.
Michael Watkins 1965 (San Diego)
Building trust is complicated
a lifetime of error and trials,
It's filled with pain and inner-joy
and sometimes sadness and smiles,
Trust cannot be bought or sold
instead it must be earned,
the give and take can only be won-
if abused, a lesson to be learned,
A broken trust is different-
the connection or feeling is lost,
as much as you want to believe in trust-
are you willing to pay for it's cost,
A genuine trust is a Blessing
don't force it, you'll know when it's right
A relationship with a foundation
should be cherished the rest of your life.

About this poem
I wrote this because the value of trust is under appreciated and regularly taken advantage of.
