The gates
Sitting in his only chair sit an old man without many tears left with little years
He had spent some good memories in that chair so fine they strongly adhered
Now he sits in pleasant peace waiting for the moment, a noise so noticeable
It’s impossible not to hear. Now he waits with his eyes pinned in a straight stare on the marble floor.
“It’s not the house I adore nor my fate that waits at the corridor door or but the life I
long for”. “I had little time on this planet earth and in that little time I experienced unimaginable horrors no other man is likely to see”.” I have surpassed many of the worst enemies life has to offer but this particular event is greater than me, and for that I must go”.
“A few hours later there is a click at the door”. No more he hoped for the life he had longed for.
There comes his fate, bursting down the door. He could not run forit felt like he was tied, tied so tightn no rope or string was among his warm damping body.
The beast was in sight. “Thump Thump Thump” Each step shook the whole suite.
There lay a key .There was nothing there but a room filled with illusions. There is a world of beast beyond his sight. A world of peace when he opens his eyes. The man was still moaning desperately in the chair. Then there was silence and the man’s own heartbeat filled the air. With every beat there was pain. Not ordinary pain, not physical pain. The pain is
affecting the man mentally and emotionally. Every second there was another beat that filled the damp cold room with the unbearable sound.. As the horrified man sat in disbelief that this was the end.”Thump” Thump” Thump What a calming sound that filled the air . The man was calm now and with the rhythm of his heartbeat. He soon fell asleep forgetting about the mysterious pain that had once filled his soul. The man needed medicine. He needed it soon. He needed it now but how could he find it? He couldn’t move his feet, let alone barely breathe.” There came the man who we all want to see, the man who ends our pain and rests us in peace”. When he awoke he wasn't there. For all this story had been a nightmare. The room was full of people, but one man stood out among the hoard of people. “That is the man who I stood before and counted my sins, the one who put my pain out once again, I am safe- I have reached my final destination- I am home”.
