Memories

My tears fell like non stop,
due to my broken heart,
missing your motivating
loving words.

I'd watch you flourish down
Six feet under. Only what's left
memories.

Thinking you
in my thoughts of memories,
Memories that bring tears
In any way.

I would have loved to share with
You,
my memories and promise,
You would have been sitting in a mention
with intentions of more happiness.

Progress of time.
Empty space,
you are no more.
Loneliness ahead of me.

I'd visit if I could, but I can't.
Two different worlds with boundaries.
Neither of us can talk or touch…

I pray to have you
in my dreams,
Maybe that is the only time

I can enjoy, with you.

About this poem

It came about having to think about my grandpa a lot. So I took some time and wrote memories thinking about the moment and times we had together and how I'm never going to get those with him again.
