Eternal Imprint : The Cosmic Legacy
In the vastness of the universe we stand
Amidst the swirling galaxies, endless space
Our tiny lives, mere footprints on the sand
Of time and space, in this eternal race.
We ponder life's great mysteries and seek
To fathom the unfathomable depths
Of being, and its meaning, but we're weak
Against the tide of life, and all its steps.
For though we strive and struggle to discern
The path of our existence, it remains
A mystery, a puzzle, hard to learn
And yet we leave our footprints all the same.
In this great cosmic dance, we take our place
And leave our marks upon the sands of space.
The poet Keats once said that truth and beauty
Are one and the same, and so it seems
That in the fleeting moments of our duty
We find the essence of our deepest dreams.
For though our lives are short, and seem so small
We leave a trace upon the sands of time
A footprint, that will speak to one and all
Of who we were, and how we spent our prime.
The Greeks believed that life was but a breath
A fleeting thing that passed as quickly as
The morning mist, and left no trace of death
But in our footprints, we can live at last.
For every step we take, we make a mark
A sign of who we are, and where we've been
And though the sands of time may seem so dark
Our footprints shine like stars, a brightened scene.
So let us walk with purpose, and with grace
And leave our footprints in the sands of space.
The great philosophers of old have said
That life is but a journey, not a goal
And so it is, we travel, earn our bread
And leave our footprints on the endless shoal.
But what of those whose footsteps fade away
Whose lives were brief, and barely left a trace
Do they too have a part in this great play
Or are their footprints lost without a trace?
The answer lies within the sands of time
For every footprint, no matter how small
Is part of life's great tapestry, sublime
A story of us all, both great and small.
So let us leave our mark upon the earth
And in the stars above, where we belong
For in our footprints, we can see our worth
And find the purpose for which we've been strong.
And when our journey's over, and we rest
We'll leave our footprints, for the world's behest.
The sands of time may shift and move and change
But footprints stand the test of time and age
For they remain when all else fades away
A monument to all we've done and said.
Our footprints are a legacy we leave
For future generations to behold
A glimpse of who we were, what we believed
And how our stories can be bravely told.
The poets and the sages of all time
Have left their footprints on the sands of life
Their words and wisdom echo in our minds
And keep their memories burning bright.
So let us leave our footprints in the sand
With purpose, passion, and with all our might
For though we may not understand
The meaning of our journey, it is right.
We are but travelers on this earthly plane
And in our journey, we must leave a mark
For footprints stand the test of time and pain
And show the world that we have left our spark.
Our lives may be but fleeting moments here
But footprints last forever, never fear
So let us walk with purpose, strong and true
And leave our footprints in the sands of life anew.
In every step we take, we leave a trace
A mark upon the universe's face
So let us make those footprints deep and clear
For they will be our legacy, ever near.
And when we're gone, our footprints will remain
A testament to all we did and gained
So let us live with purpose, strong and brave
And leave our footprints in the sands of life's great wave.
For life is but a journey, and we'll find
That footprints last forever, in the mind
So let us make our mark, with all our heart
And leave our footprints, never to depart.
