The confinement of the heart
I walk upon the grainy sand as your fingers stroke my cold naked back
in the salty tides, the suns rays float upon a silky canvas made of your skin, flesh, and bone
your wilted hearts margin and my peached face, us walking on the long coast
the shine of the sunsets open palette reflect off of your intrusive gaze
the wind cuts like a knife, alike, from the text of your mind scape
the ocean's waves push me deep, deep, down, taking the breath from my lungs
then I'd sore in the night sky, taking my hand from yours, breaking the chains, flying free only to fall back down in your grasp, pulling me closer and closer begging for help only to be silenced
the stars, the air, the compass of my voice screaming, falling, leading to defeat, begging the treasure trove in your eyes, for love and to pull the knife from my chest, releasing from my heart
So I can bleed out and suffer no more,
Crying the beautiful colours of the seaside shore
