Just a Feeling

Heart beats and chest quivers. Mind is overwhelmed and soul begins to shiver. Alone, only in my mind, and yet, the world around me.  Feelings, so prominent, push them back with good intent. Goodness comes and has been there always, seems so grand a thing to see, sometimes feeling, nothings left inside of me.
Lost. Blank, numb and yet finding my way through the forest of life. The branches extend only for me to reach and grab hold. Keeping me afloat, I push through the day until the next one comes.
