Earthquake
Yesterday there was an earthquake. My foundation was trembling. Everything I had broke into pieces. My love, peace, hope, strength and perseverance were no longer. In that earthquake, I cried and screamed but I screamed the name of Jesus. When I screamed out to the lord my soul began to feel light. God didn’t cause an earthquake to destroy my world. He broke off pieces of pain and ordered my steps to become greater than I was before. An earthquake isn’t destructive. It could be the shake you needed to get back to you.
