The thought which lingered.
What am I but darkness’s shadow?
All I do is follow this hidden path.
Unseen by many but felt by my soul.
Illuminated assumptions be my heart.
Universal truth is a dream I cannot fathom.
I believe not that which math attempts to rationalize.
I know something is out there.
How can we be part of an ending when it feels like this is just the beginning.
Our early years a myth.
Our forefathers faceless.
Only traces of which only found in DNA.
Who are you, man of the dark?
There is no spark of hope in you, only an unnerving silence.
Yet the grass is greener still.
Why can’t I break free of these chains which bind me?
Is there truth in the universe?
Is there life beyond the darkness?
Only questions remain.
I want to see past the chaos.
