My Right Hand
Sharon Stubblefield 1966 (Bronx, NY)
This is the hand you used to hold when we dated for a while
This is the one you used to kiss and said doing so made you smile
This is the hand you carressed when you asked me to be your bride
And the one you tossed aside as you told me goodbye
Now cold and broken it lies across my chest
Take it as you always did hold it in your hand
Caress it like you used to when once you really cared
Death now lays upon me for you no longer care
The Grim Reaper became my bridegroom and magets form my ring
